Born in Cape Town, South Africa where he has resided all his life except for four years where he spent on the East Coast of the United States.
Maurice’s career has involved him in management positions where he has exercised his entrepreneurial skills over several decades. His travels around North and South America as well as many countries of Europe enable him to relate well to his continual stream of guests that he guides around the majestic and picturesque landscape of his country.

He discovered his passion for the tourism industry some twelve years ago whilst travelling through the beautiful regions of the Western Cape on business and decided to proudly share this passion with visitors to South Africa from all over the world. As South Africa transformed from its former global isolation to become a very popular tourist destination which culminated in his country proudly hosting the 2010 soccer world cup, Maurice was able to make his dream of showing off his homeland come true.

In his own words, Maurice does not consider his vocation as a job, but spends his days “going on vacation” together with his clients resulting in a harmonious, relaxed and fun filled way of sharing his dream with the world.
